I’ve gone onto write a children’s picture book, a chapter book that is huge across schools and also a fiction book. My book is now in 24 languages and being made into a Hollywood movie. After speaking to my wife about my belief that the book was going to be a success we made the decision for me to quit my job and take a chance on it all. ![]() I wanted to give the book my full attention and see where it could go. I was however still working full time for a company that I loved but I felt that this was also going to hold me back if I stayed with them. In 2017 I was about to release my first book ‘Finding Gobi’. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening.
